The Holy Spirit, or The Holy Ghost, is the spirit of God Himself and has been active in God’s plan since the beginning of time. Although the Spirit has always existed, we first see mention of Him in Genesis 1:2 and Genesis 1:26 as part of the Trinity (“us” and “our”) taking part in God’s creation. To understand the Holy Spirit in our lives, we will see:

  • A Comforting Presence
  • An Edifying Teacher
  • An Empowering Treasure

An Edifying Teacher

3. The Holy Spirit points out sin for us to acknowledge so we can turn to God and stay clean before Him John 16:7-11, Galatians 5:16-17, 1Timothy 4:1
