Sunday mornings, we are doing a verse-by-verse study in the book of Romans. Romans gives us the foundation for our personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It also gives us the foundation for how to share our faith with others.
Join us Sundays from 10:00 - 11:00am or listen online by visiting our Sermons page.
Join us this summer for a series on mental health from a biblical perspective. Jesse Wright will be teaching this series on the 3rd Wednesday night each month, 6:30-8:00pm.
Valley of Conflict (June 17)
The enemy wants to take us to our lowest point possible, and battle us there. This low point is a place of decision. We can either trust the Lord for victory, or be held captive.
Strongholds ( July 15, August 19)
We will cover a variety of disorders that are common in our world today, so that we are not ignorant of the devices the enemy uses to try to take us captive and to win the battle for our minds.
Weapons of Victory (September 16)
We will discover God's plan and purpose in our mental battles. We will discover the equipment and army at our disposal and see the victory the Lord has won for us, even when we are still fighting.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.
Ever take the time to look up and contemplate the glory the Lord describes in this passage? God has obviously given us His written word to communicate His purpose, plan, and love for man. This verse in Psalms and others in the Bible describes how the heavens above also illustrate to us those same truths: God loves us and He has a purpose for us.
Please join us these Wednesday evenings as we seek to see God in His creation, allow the truths we find in the Heavens and His Word to help us grow in our own walk with Him, understand the true science, overcome the fear of "science," and be better equipped to share those truths others.
Pondering the Promise - February 20
Perfecting our Perspective - March 13
Our study in Jonah gives us insight into God's great love for mankind. He has a message of salvation and hope for the vilest offender. And yet God spends the majority of this little book of our Old Testament, dealing with the heart of Jonah himself - the prophet God had chosen to give His message to the masses. Jonah was a guy like us - a patriot who loved his nation. God's call to bring the good news to his mortal enemies sparks a passion in Jonah's heart - and not in a good way!
Our goal in this study is to look inward, ask the Lord to reveal what obstacles may exist in our own hearts that keep us from being an effective witness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and yield those areas to Him so He can use us as He desires.
Join us the 2nd and 4th Wednesday night of each month, 6:30-8:00 pm. Our topics include:
Chapter 1 - Bearing Witness or Bearing Grudges?
Chapter 2 - Beginning of Life is Your Death
Chapter 3 - Believing in the God of Mercy and Grace
Chapter 4 - Bending the Knee of Your Heart
Be sure to check out the book of overview of Jonah on our sermons page. This message serves as the introduction to the entire Jonah series.
